It was a tough game for the boys yesterday in Grangemouth. They didn’t really click and they were punished for every mistake.

There were still some excellent passages of play and some really good passing football on display.

Plus, the goals they scored were bangers!

Back to training on Wednesday and we know the lads will bounce back. They always do! 💪⚽️

Captaining the team against Syngenta Grange this evening will be the newest addition to the United ranks, KAI.

Kai joined the team a couple of weeks ago and has made an immediate impression, scoring three goals in his first two games in a Broxburn shirt. He’s fit into the group very well, proving to be an excellent addition to the squad.

🏅Yesterday ROBBIE took home the Player of the Match award for his efforts against Murieston Whites.

Robbie bossed proceedings in the first half while playing in his usual midfield role, grabbing two goals and two assists.

As we were short of defenders yesterday, Robbie stepped up and volunteered to play at the back, a position he isn’t too familiar with and did it admirably.

Well done Robbie, you thoroughly deserved the POTM award! 💪⚽️🔴⚪️

The United lads were on fire today!

Great performances all over the pitch. Their passing, movement, communication and teamwork were exactly what we’ve been asking of them.

Some of the goals scored were brilliant, such incredible composure from the young lads.

Great stuff today boys, you were all excellent!

The games are coming thick and fast, on to Monday now! 💪🔴⚪️

🔴⚪️ CAPTAIN vs Murieston Whites

This week KYLE will be leading the United lads against Murieston Whites after earning the captains armband.

Kyle put in an excellent shift against East Calder on Monday, where he came very close to adding to his 7 goals so far this season. He followed this up with an impressive display in training on Wednesday.

Well done Kyle, you’ll be a great captain! 💪⚽️

🏅 An excellent display from DAVID yesterday meant he was awarded the Player of the Match trophy.

David worked incredibly hard when playing in midfield and upfront, he didn’t give his East Calder counterparts a minutes peace.

He got his reward with an assist and a well taken goal, which takes his tally for the season to 11.

Last night GREGOR led the team as captain against East Calder.

Every week in training Gregor sets the standard of hard work and always has a willingness to push himself. His hard work definitely pays off, as he gets better every week.

Last night we saw a real captains performance from him, he was his usual calm and composed self, and distributed the ball brilliantly out of defence.

Well done Gregor, very well deserved! ⚽️💪

The boys didn’t get a game at the weekend, so we were thankful to East Calder United for coming through to the Albyn to play a friendly this evening.

It was an entertaining contest, with chances at both ends and some great goals scored.

🏅 Yesterday United were joined on the sidelines by Colts coach Kerr, who was tasked with picking a Player of the Match.
Without hesitation Kerr chose THOMAS to take the trophy home.

Thomas was excellent yesterday, we saw his usual solid defensive performance and he was also superb when deployed further up the pitch.

Our number 30 is really going from strength to strength and it’s great to see! 💪⚽️🔴⚪️

A disappointing end to the game, but the boys can be proud of their efforts this morning.

Some of the football played, chances created and saves from Callum were excellent. As were the goals scored.

It was a warm day and they all played a lot of minutes, tremendous energy and teamwork from them all!

Well done lads! 💪🔴⚪️
