A fantastic effort from within our trials community happening today πŸ‘

Vince Mackintosh, along with a group of riders, is taking on a serious challenge in support of Macmillan Cancer Support with their β€œBack to the Future SSDT/Pre65”.

Riding pre-65 machines over 200+ miles and 60 observed sections, from Edinburgh through to Kinlochleven and on to Fort William, this is no mean feat on bikes of that era. A real test of endurance, skill and determination.

They are on the road today from Edinburgh to Kinlochleven. If you’re out and about, you may be able to catch them along the route at these estimated times:

0730–0800 Edinburgh Gorgie Market (Corn Exchange)
Bikes depart 0800

0845–0900 Culross
0940–1000 Blairlogie
1025–1040 Braco
1100–1115 Comrie
1135–1150 Lochearnhead
1220–1230 Crianlarich
1230–1245 Tyndrum
1325–1340 Glencoe Village
1400–1420 Kinlochleven

If you’re able to support this brilliant effort, please consider donating:

As this weekend turns its attention to the prestigious Pre-65 Scottish Trial, and with the iconic Scottish Six Days Trial just around the corner, excitement is really starting to build πŸ‘πŸ”₯

These are two standout events in the trials calendar, steeped in history and renowned for their atmosphere, challenge and world-class riding. It is always special to see the sport come alive across Scotland at this time of year.

Good luck to all competitors taking part, and to everyone travelling to spectate and support. Your passion and commitment are what make these events so special.

We look forward to seeing and hearing all the buzz over the coming days. I am sure both events will be a great success once again.

The action does not stop after the Scottish Six Days Trial.

Round 2 of the Scottish Trials Championship heads to Strontian for the Ally Beag Memorial, hosted by Lochaber & District MCC.

Set in a fantastic venue, the club has also confirmed it will cover the cost of the ferry for all competitors and observers, a strong commitment to supporting the sport.

A full range of routes will be available, including youth and OSET classes, making it an excellent opportunity for riders of all levels to take part.

Entry is available via the link in the original post. Let’s continue to get behind the championship and support the clubs putting these events on.
