Thank you again for your generous donations. The justgiving 2026 Hay Appeal has raised £2,519 of £3,000 target.
289 small bales of hay were delivered today, costing £5 per bale, total cost £1,445.
We are currently having to feed hay, 2 large round bales were placed in the hay racks today.

Thank you for your generous donations and to those people who work in the background raising funds for Goatsgalore. The justgiving 2026 Hay Appeal has currently raised £2,019 of £3,000 target.
Our 2026 hay has been made and we have received 200 bales with 400 due to be delivered over the next 2 weeks.
We are having to feed hay because the ground is scorched and bare.

Thank you for your generous donations. The justgiving 2026 Hay Appeal has raised £1,784 of the £3000 target. This year's hay is due to be made this week. So we need to continue to raise funds to reach the £3000 target.
Our latest arrivals are settling in well and are growing up fast.
Our only gosling is still receiving a lot of protection from Mom, Dad and Auntie x 2.You are still not allowed to get too close.

Thank you again for supporting the 2026 Hay Appeal. You have raised £1,284 of the £3000 target. Yesterday we welcomed the arrival of 7 Saanen cross, 10 week old, weaned kids. They were bottle fed, so are very friendly.
I don't know their medical history, so I have wormed one kid today and will worm the rest tomorrow. They will also need to be vaccinated this week and I shall keep them isolated from the other goats. They enjoyed a few hours browsing in the wood.

The ducklings are growing up fast. The goose sat on 2 eggs and after all of that time spent sitting on the eggs hatched one gosling. The gosling receives a lot of attention and protection from mom, dad and auntie. The ducklings go out on the pond during the day and come in at night .

Ducklings enjoying life outdoors.

Thank you for your generous donations. The recent justgiving Veterinary Medicines Appeal has raised £600 of the £600 target.
We currently have 22 ducklings that have hatched at Goatsgalore, 12 are allowed out each day and stay on pond with their mother. They come in at night to protect them from peditors.
In the next coming days I will have to start another justgiving campaign to raise funds for our 2026/27 hay appeal. Hopefully if we have enough rain the price of hay will fall.
At least the grass has started to grow, but we are still currently feeding hay outside.
