We are calling on local residents to help make a real difference in the lives of others by becoming volunteer drivers. Our service provides a vital lifeline for people who struggle getting to essential services, social activities and appointments due to limited transport options.
We are particularly keen to hear from people living in the villages of Bishops Frome, Whitbourne, Bredenbury, Edwyn Ralph and Upper Sapey. If you live in or near these areas, your support could make a huge impact to keeping Bromyard Community Transport’s wheels turning.
As a volunteer you will help local people attend medical appointments, shopping trips and social activities. Reducing isolation and improve wellbeing within your community. You will enjoy flexible volunteering that fits round your schedule, meeting new people and building meaningful connections.
No experience is necessary - just a friendly attitude, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. Mileage expenses are reimbursed and full support is provided by our team.
If you can spare a few hours, we would love to hear from you. Your time is the most generous gift that you can give and could transform someone’s day - and their quality of life.
To find out more, please contact Bromyard Community Transport, 01885 488452 between 9:00am and 1:00pm, Monday to Friday or email [email protected]
