Carers Week (8th June-14th June 2026) 🥰
The NHS defines a carer as “anyone who looks after a family member, partner or friend who needs help because of their illness, frailty, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction and cannot cope without their support. The care they give is unpaid.”
Looking after someone who struggles with alcohol or drugs can lead to emotional stress, strained relationships and even health issues. If you’re a carer, please take care of yourself too. Seek support, and remember you’re not alone 💜🧡💜🧡
If you would like to find out more about the support we offer carers, get in touch with your local service. You can find their contact information on our website:

You don't have to be a registered carer to receive our support, we’re here for you!!
