🏀 Meet Our New Coaches

We’re excited to introduce two new Phoenix coaches who will lead our new U12 and U18 divisions for the 2026/27 season.

Coach Elliot

Elliot has been playing basketball for more than 15 years and recorded his first dunk at just 13. After representing Langley Park School and Coventry University, he now plays for Bromley Phoenix. (Our reigning MVP!)

He has coached for the past two years, working with players aged 12 to 18+ to build confidence, teamwork and strong fundamental skills, while helping them develop a genuine love for the game.

Favourite player: Kobe Bryant 🐍

Coach Dimi

Dimi has more than 20 years of playing experience, beginning his basketball journey with BC Cherno More in Bulgaria before representing Coventry University, Coventry Crusaders, Tile Hill Trojans and now Bromley Phoenix.

He has coached for the past three years, working with players of different ages and focusing on developing strong fundamentals and a lasting passion for basketball.

Favourite player: Manu Ginóbili 🦇

We’re delighted to have them both on board as Phoenix continues to grow. All of our coaches are at least Basketball England Level 2 certified and hold Enhanced DBS clearance, along with up-to-date safeguarding and first aid qualifications.

Phoenix Summer Sessions are now live! 🐦‍🔥🏀

We will be hosting summer sessions throughout July for prospective players looking to join the club. These sessions are an excellent opportunity for players to showcase their talent, effort and understanding of the game in a structured and engaging environment.

🏀 U12 Mixed (Year 7 & below) — From 10th July
🏀 U14 Boys (Years 8-9) — From 7th July
🏀 U16 Boys (Years 10-11) — From 7th July
