It started in a kitchen, with a son and his mother who encountered Jesus for themselves and felt compelled to share his love with others.

140 years later, The Salvation Army is still here in the heart of Bromley. We still meet in kitchens, in front rooms, and at tables. We still gather in our hall, in our café, and on the street. With that very same desire to make the love of Jesus known.

This October, join us as we celebrate God’s faithfulness over generations, thanking him for those who have gone before us and looking ahead to what comes next. Take a look at the events happening over our anniversary weekend – we’d love to see you there!

Many of you may have heard the devastating news of the incident that took place at the Big Church Festival.

Some of our church family were there yesterday and others were due to arrive today. All are safe and well.

In response to this event, some of our youth along with others from around London and South East divisions are holding a simple ‘unplugged’ time of prayer and worship at the hall this evening (from 6pm).

Please join us in praying for all those affected by this tragic event.

We’re a multigenerational and multinational congregation where you can form friendships and find a community centred around knowing Jesus and making Jesus known.

Whatever age or stage you’re at, you’re welcome to join us on Sundays from 10am, or connect with us during the week.

Our New Mums Group is restarting on Wednesday 9th September at 2pm, with a couple of changes ✨

We are going to be called 'Small Wonders', and will meet regularly during the term time. The group is relaxed, friendly, free of charge, and we chat about a range of topics. As previously, the group is only for mums with babies under 6 months.

To avoid disappointment, please email or call ahead to reserve a place (details on flyer).

Come and join us as Major George Whittingham, a member of our Corps, celebrates his 100th birthday! 🎂🎊

The Centenary Celebration Concert, in support of Bowel Cancer UK, will be delivered by a consortium of brass players who have all journeyed with George - this includes former members of the International Staff Band, members of the South London Fellowship Band, and Bromley Temple Band.
