🔧 Maintenance Morning – Save the Date! ⚜️

Our next maintenance morning at the 23rd Bromley Scout Hut will be on Saturday 12th September, 10am–12pm.

We’ll be getting stuck into a few jobs around the hut to keep everything looking its best and in good working order.

No specialist tools or skills are needed — just come along with a willingness to help and get involved! There will be plenty of jobs to suit everyone.

🍛 Would you be interested in a Curry Night? 🍛

The 23rd Bromley Scouts Fundraising Committee is considering hosting a Curry Night at Scout HQ on Saturday 21st November, and we'd love to know if there's enough interest!

Enjoy a delicious meal from Curry Mahal, including:
🥟 Samosas
🫓 Naan bread
🍚 Rice
🥬 Vegetable curry
🍗 Two chicken curries
🥔 Bombay potatoes

💷 Cost: £20 per person (payable in advance)

🥤 Bring your own drinks, plates and cutlery – it saves on the washing up too!

Before we confirm the event, we're looking to gauge interest. If you'd like to come, please email [email protected] with:

📢 23rd Bromley Scouts Jumble Sale – Save the Date! 📢

Before we break for summer, here's a reminder that our next Jumble Sale will take place on Saturday 3rd October.

We're now starting to collect donations and would love your support! Please have a look through your cupboards and ask friends, family, and neighbours if they have any unwanted items to donate.

✅ We will be accepting:
👕 Clothes & shoes
🧸 Toys
📚 Books
🧩 Jigsaw puzzles
🔌 Small electrics & electronics
🎁 Bric-a-brac

❌ We will not be accepting furniture, microwaves, TVs, or other large items.

Donation drop-off arrangements at Scout HQ will be announced in early September when Scout meetings resume.

We’re really proud of the improvements at the 23rd Bromley Scout HQ - with new toilets, a refreshed kitchen, and an accessible ramp, the building is looking better than ever.

Now that the big upgrades are almost complete, we’re keen to stay on top of the smaller jobs that keep our HQ safe, tidy and a great place for all our young people.

Our new drop‑in maintenance sessions will start on Friday 5th June, and then run on the first Friday of every month.

All of our members, parents and supporters are warmly invited to drop by and see the first phase of the newly renovated Scout HQ at 11am on Sunday 17th May at the end of the Parade Service.

Come take a look around, enjoy the fresh space, and celebrate this exciting update with us and enjoy a cup of Tea/Coffee & cake.

Jumble Sale – Saturday 3rd October

Scout Christmas Fair – Saturday 28th November
