🍰☕ Teas on the Green 🫖🧁

Here’s a look back at last year’s Teas on the Green – such a lovely afternoon of bakes, brews and community spirit!

Brockham Young Farmers are back hosting it again on 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐-𝟓𝐩𝐦 it’s our biggest fundraiser of the year and we would love to see you there.

🎡 Victorian Funfair!

We had a fantastic time at the Brockham Victorian Funfair last Saturday. The sun was shining, the rides were spinning, and our YFC mini golf was in full swing with some impressive putting on display too. ⛳️

A big thank you to everyone who popped by our stall – it was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and be part of such a fun day in the heart of the village. 💙

🌊🛶 Paddle Boarding Night at The SHAC!

What a splash of a night with Brockham Young Farmers – plenty of laughs, a few wobbly moments, and some surprisingly good balance from the team (mostly… 😂).

🎳💚 A Bowl Lot of Fun!

Last Thursday, our Young Farmers swapped fields for the green as we headed to Brockham Bowls Club for a brilliant evening of lawn bowls. From focused throws to wayward bowls (and plenty of laughs in between!), everyone gave it a great go.

A huge thank you to the team at Brockham for being so welcoming and showing us the ropes — we might even have a few future champs in the making!

It was the perfect way to try something new, spend time together, and enjoy a sunny summer evening. ☀️

🐄☀️ Such a great day out at Cow Pie Country Show 2025!

Brockham Young Farmers had so much fun getting stuck into loads of events – from racing our badger soapbox and giving the digger challenge a go, to showing off our creative side in the YFC tent (who knew dreamcatchers and decorated eggs could be so competitive?!). We also joined in with musical pitstop, stock judging and even the egg throwing competition – never a dull moment! 🎶🥚🚜

We loved getting involved as a team and cheering each other on throughout the day.

A big thank you to all the amazing volunteers and organisers who make the show so special – we’re so grateful. And well done to all the clubs who took part – such a great atmosphere from start to finish! 💚

🐑🐥 An evening with the fluffiest of friends!

This week Brockham Young Farmers headed to Sophie’s family farm in Charlwood for some lambing. No new arrivals while we were there, but we still got to meet some adorable baby lambs, expecting mothers, and even sneak in a few cuddles with ducklings.

A big thank you to Sophie and her family for a brilliant evening! 💚

🌸 A blooming brilliant evening with our Brockham Young Farmers!

Tonight they rolled up their sleeves and planted up the planters outside the Reading Room Café on the green — bringing colour, care and community spirit to the heart of the village.

A big thank you to this hardworking bunch — proof that a few trowels, some topsoil and a lot of teamwork can make a real difference! 👏

Our young farmers had a fantastic time meeting the cows and calves. Experiences like this are what it’s all about — gaining knowledge, making memories, and inspiring the next generation of farmers. 💚
