💙 Update from Broadway Junior Youth Club 💙
We wanted to share an honest update. Although the club has been on a break, there has been a lot happening behind the scenes involving organisational matters and discussions with other parties connected to the club.
Because of this, things have taken longer than we hoped to untangle and resolve. Our focus now is on getting everything properly sorted, including confirming arrangements for the club going forward, which may include a change of day, and making sure we have enough volunteers in place to run sessions safely and sustainably.
We won’t pretend we’re in a perfect place right now — but we are actively working towards getting everything back on track. We just need a bit more time to do this properly rather than rushing and risking things not being right.
Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support. We really do appreciate it, and we’ll keep everyone updated as soon as we can.
💫 If you’d be interested in helping or volunteering — even occasionally — please do get in touch. Your support could make a real difference.

🎉 Happy New Year to you all! 🎉
We can’t wait to be back at youth club and see all of the children again — we’ve missed you so much! 💛
We’re aiming to be back up and running by the end of January / beginning of February, and we’re working hard behind the scenes to make the first week back absolutely fab ✨
I’ll update you all very soon with the official opening date — not long to go now! 😀

📣 Important Announcement – Broadway Junior Youth Club Update

It’s with heavy hearts that we announce Broadway Junior Youth Club will be closing until after Christmas.

The past ten months have been incredibly challenging for everyone involved with the club. It’s been a constant battle that has taken a huge toll on us all — physically, mentally, and emotionally. After much thought, we’ve decided that we need to take a break to recharge, reflect, and come back stronger for the children and the community we care so deeply about.

Many of you are already aware of the situation, but we wanted to explain why we are no longer based in our original building — the one our club worked so hard to get built. Unfortunately, due to ongoing issues with another organisation now operating from the premises, it’s become impossible for us to continue running there. Despite our best efforts to make it work, the situation has made things extremely difficult, and we’ve had to make the hard decision to step away for now.

We also want to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to the URC. They have been nothing short of incredible — offering us support, kindness, and understanding throughout this tough time. We truly wouldn’t have made it this far without them, and we’re so thankful for everything they have done (and continue to do) for Broadway Junior Youth Club. ❤️

This decision has not been made lightly. We never want to let our young people or our community down, but we know this pause is necessary so we can return refreshed and ready to deliver the best experience possible.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to message us — we’re happy to talk.

Thank you all for your continued love and support. We’ll be back after Christmas, bigger, better, and with a special treat for the children! 🎄💫

With gratitude,
The Broadway Junior Youth Club Team

After over 10 years of running the youth club, it is with a heavy heart that I’ve decided to step back from the Junior Youth Club for the time being.

This past year has been incredibly challenging both mentally and physically draining. We’ve faced so many obstacles, and unfortunately, certain individuals have worked hard to try and shut the club down. Despite our best efforts, the lack of support has taken its toll. It has affected not only my mental health but also the well-being of others involved, and I’ve reached a point where I’ve started to lose myself in the process.

For my own health and peace of mind, I need to take a step back to rest and recover. My hope is that with time, I’ll regain my strength and be able to continue fighting to keep the Junior Youth Club going, as it means so much to me and to so many young people.

I’m truly sorry if this decision disappoints anyone it’s not one I’ve made lightly, but right now, I need some time for myself.

Thank you for all your support and understanding.
Thank you
Emma
