Signpost Broadway Signpost was founded in 1999 to help alleviate the stress and anxiety of personal problems .

💙 **Did you know Signpost can refer you to other organisations for extra support?**

At Signpost Broadway, we can help point you in the right direction and connect you with services that may be able to help.

We can refer you to:

🤝 **Citizens Advice** – for advice and guidance on a range of issues.

🛋️ **Roundabout** – a furniture and homeware reuse charity helping people access essential household items.

⚡ **Act on Energy** – for help understanding your energy usage, advice on ways to reduce electricity costs, and access to free items such as warmer duvets and oil heaters, where available and eligible.

💜 **Admiral Nurse** – specialist dementia support for families and carers affected by dementia.

🌿 **ONside Social Prescriber** – to help you find support, activities and services that could improve your wellbeing.

You don't have to face things alone. If you need a little extra help or aren't sure where to turn, pop in and have a chat. We're here to listen and help you find the right support.

As well as our usual Tuesday and Thursday opening hours, Signpost Broadway will be open **Saturday 31st October, 9am–12 noon.**

We offer:
🖨️ Printing, photocopying and help with online forms
💙 Blue Badge application support
🏫 A listening ear for students and parents – our volunteer Zara has experience in education
🔥 Information and referrals to Act on Energy if you’re worried about rising energy prices
💬 Referrals to Citizens Advice, or appointments with their adviser at Signpost on **Thursday 5th November**

Whether you need practical help, advice or simply someone to listen, we’re here for you.

We’re pleased to welcome Louisa, Admiral Nurse, to Signpost.
Admiral Nurses are specialist dementia nurses who are there for the whole family. As experts in dementia, they support families with the many complex challenges of the condition, providing free, specialist advice, support and understanding, whenever it’s needed.
If you or someone you know would like to speak to an Admiral Nurse, please contact us to book an appointment.

If you are coping with the loss of a loved one, please know that you don't have to go through it alone.

Our Bereavement Café offers a friendly, welcoming space where you can meet others, share a cuppa, have a chat, or simply sit and listen. There is no pressure to talk – just come along as you are.

Are you a **homeowner or tenant** and need help with your energy?

Signpost can help you access free support from **Act on Energy**, (no age restriction)

They can help you:

• Understand how to use your energy meter
• Keep your home warm in winter and cool in summer
• Make the most of your heating and energy
• Understand the energy options available to suit your needs
• Understand your choices and help you make a switch if required
• Choose two free Heat Pack items, such as an oil-filled radiator or duvet, depending on your circumstances and availability

Act on Energy cannot recommend which energy company you should use, but they can provide impartial information about the different choices available and support you if you decide to switch.

Support may vary depending on your circumstances, including whether you are a homeowner or tenant.

Next Wednesday, our parent carer reps will be supporting SEND families from across Wychavon. Join us at Signpost Broadway for hot chocolate, croissant and peer support. We'll be talking dyslexia, umbrella pathway, right to choose assessments, school support, access to respite, short breaks and much more. This is a free event where families are welcome to 'drop in' between 10am and 12 noon.
