🎃👻 HALLOWEEN HAS ARRIVED AT THANET DISABLED RIDING CENTRE! 👻🎃

Things are getting a little spooky around the yard as Halloween has arrived at TDRC! 🕸️🧡 Our team are busy getting everything ready as we prepare for the upcoming half-term holidays.

We’re looking forward to welcoming our riders for some autumn fun, making special memories with our ponies, and bringing a little Halloween magic to the centre! 🐴🍂🎃

Keep your eyes peeled for more updates on what we’ve been getting up to over half term! 👀🧙‍♀️

💜🎯 A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE MAGNET PUB! 🎯💜

We would like to say a massive thank you to The Magnet Pub, and especially Will and Donny, for organising their fantastic Charity Dartathon on Sunday 30th and Monday 31st August! 🎯👏

We are absolutely blown away to announce that they raised an incredible £1,775 for Thanet Disabled Riding Centre! 🐴💚

What an amazing achievement! Your generosity, hard work and support mean so much to us and will make a real difference to the riders and ponies here at TDRC.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, supported the event and helped make the Dartathon such a success. 💜

At 38 years young, Smartie has certainly earned her status as one of the most loved ponies at TDRC. She’s been with us since she was just 4 years old, so she’s been part of the TDRC family for an incredible 34 years! 🥹💚

From her morning routine to enjoying some of the finer things in life! Smartie knows exactly how to make the most of her day!

Smartie may be retired now, but she still has a very important job… being the yard’s resident superstar! ⭐🐴

We had a fantastic time at the Westwood Cross Charity Day! 🐴✨

It was lovely to spend the day at The Hub, meeting members of the local community, chatting about the work we do at Thanet Disabled Riding Centre and spreading the word about how our amazing ponies help make a difference to so many people. 🐎💚

A huge thank you to Westwood Cross for inviting us along and for supporting local charities and organisations. We’re so grateful to be part of such a lovely community event! ❤️

And a special thank you to Rock Choir for joining us and providing some fantastic entertainment throughout the day! 🎶🎤 It was brilliant to have you there!

📚💚 WE’RE TESCO MANSTON’S COMMUNITY CHAMPION! 💚📚

We’re absolutely delighted to announce that Thanet Disabled Riding Centre is once again the Tesco Manston Community Champion! 🥰

As part of our Community Champion partnership, we have our very own community bookcase in Tesco Manston, filled with books that are available for the community to enjoy. 📖✨

We’re asking you to take a book, leave a book, and help us keep the bookcase going! There’s something for everyone, from novels and thrillers to children’s books and everything in between.

💚 Every book donated or taken helps support our community bookcase and, in turn, helps raise awareness of the work we do here at TDRC.

We’d also like to say a huge thank you to Tesco Manston for continuing to support us and for giving us this fantastic space to connect with the local community. Your support means so much to us and our riders, ponies and team. 🐴💚

💚 Thank You for a Fantastic Training Day! 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our training day on Wednesday! 🐴📚

It was a fantastic opportunity for our team to learn, share knowledge and build on our understanding of the work we do here at Thanet Disabled Riding Centre. Continuing to develop our skills and knowledge is so important in helping us provide the best possible experience and support for all of our riders. 💚

We were also delighted to welcome Jaye from Chartwell House, who delivered a really informative and engaging Dementia Awareness training session. 🧠💜

It was a lovely session and gave us lots of useful insight into understanding dementia, supporting those living with dementia and making sure our centre continues to be as welcoming and inclusive as possible.

And of course, a huge thank you to Blackburn Funeral Directors for their very kind donation of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, along with a large box of biscuits for everyone to enjoy throughout the training day! ☕🍪 Your generosity helped keep us all fuelled and refreshed while we learned. 💚

Thank you again to everyone who gave their time to attend and make the day such a success — we’re looking forward to putting our learning into practice! 🌟🐴

🐴🌊 A Well-Deserved Pony Day Out! 🌊🐴

Our ponies have absolutely loved seeing all of our holiday riders throughout the summer! 💚 It’s been a busy few weeks filled with lots of smiles, cuddles, riding and plenty of fun. 🥰

After working so hard, our four-legged team enjoyed a well-deserved week off this week — and what better way to spend Bank Holiday Monday than with a trip to the beach! 🏖️🐴

They had a brilliant time getting out, having some fun, enjoying the fresh air and stretching their legs (and, of course, making the most of their day off! 😉).

A huge thank you to our amazing ponies for all their hard work this summer. They really are at the heart of everything we do at TDRC. 💚

Now it’s time for a little rest and relaxation before they’re back to doing what they do best — putting smiles on faces! 🥰🐴

🎉🐴 HAPPY BIRTHDAY & HAPPY GOTCHA DAY, BERTIE! 🐴🎉

Today we’re celebrating one of the most popular ponies on the yard — our very own Bertie! 💚

Bertie is affectionately known by everyone as “the cow pony” 🐄🐴 and he certainly has the personality to match! He’s cheeky, full of character and always on the lookout for his next snack… because apparently no snack is ever enough! 😂🥕🍎

Bertie has become such a special part of the Thanet Disabled Riding Centre family, bringing smiles, laughter and plenty of mischief wherever he goes. 💚

So today we’re wishing our gorgeous boy a very Happy Birthday AND Happy Gotcha Day! 🎂🎈
