🌍✨ Happy World Environment Day!

Did you know that we compost the food waste produced on site at Hansel?

This has several benefits as it reduces the amount of compost we need to purchase, promotes our green agenda by encouraging everyone on site to get involved in the recycling process and promotes environmental sustainability by moving away from peat based compost.

We had a great day at the Hansel Charity Golf day a few weeks ago and today we want to say a special thank you to our event host and charity auctioneer, Steve Neilson.

Steve so ably guided everyone through the day whilst also playing in the Hansel team (which went on to win!)

Thank you Steve for all your support and for helping us to raise the amazing amount of £8905.14 towards a new minibus for our Respite & Short Breaks service at Hansel ❤️

Lindy's is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am till 2.30pm (breakfast served till 11.30am, last orders for food 2pm). Please see the Specials Menu for any changes to opening hours.

We were delighted to welcome visitors from the Constructed Wetland Association to Hansel recently where we hosted a site visit as part of their Annual Conference.

The group came to visit our mature reedbeds at Hansel with the visit led by Stewart Moir from Moir Environmental and were able to see how our site has been delivering sustainable water management for over 20 years 🌿💧

We hope you all enjoyed your visit to Hansel!
