Sadly Tracy is back with us. The resident dogs simply wouldn't accept her and her new owner had concerns that they would hurt her so the safest thing for her was to return her. We are very sympathetic to this situation and whilst it broke her new owners heart to return her, she did the right thing for Tracy and we always want what's right not only for our dogs but for any resident dogs.

What can we tell you about this little bundle of love and bounce?

Well she's 7 months old... a little shy until she knows you... she needs a home with another dog as she needs some confidence... she is also a total cuddle bug and so needs to go to a home where she'll be allowed to cuddle up with you on the sofa... she's super dog savvy and has good dog manners here... she's spayed passported and microchipped... she wasn't bothered by the resident cat in her new home... but she does currently get a bit car sick so this will need time and patience ...if you'd like to be consider for this little bundle of fluff then please pop us a message and we'll send you an app x

Huge thanks to Animal Support Angels for this massive haul of food for the dogs etc...and again a big thanks to Leo for giving up a precious day off to drive up and back and load and unload all the food!!!

What a busy little Bug she's been today... firstly breakfast at New Manor Farm Shop in Bishop Sutton where she met Tracey her newest fan 😍 and the lovely lady who was serving made a real fuss of her ...she had some tasty homemade cheesy bones and a sausage!!!
Then we swung by Chew Valley Pet Hub on the way home to pick up some treats and a new harness (bought by Tracey💕🐾🙏) for when she's in her buggy and in her car seat... if you're local to south Bristol or chew valley Pet Hub is the loveliest shop to pop into always soooo friendly.... Debbie (the owner) very kindly let us have the harness and lead at cost price to herself as a very sweet contribution to Bug 🫶🙏🐾💕
Then home for a leg stretch on the lawn and to meet the goslings... not sure what they thought of her but we're pretty sure she was eyeing them up as a treat 😂

We'd like to introduce a very special little lady called Bug...
She arrived on Thursday all the way from Romania.
She was found on the side of the road unable to move her back legs, rescued by one of the kindest ladies we know and taken to the vets... an xray showed that the poor little dot had suffered a broken back and that her back end was paralysed 🥺 unable to be fixed...
Fast forward a few months and here she is the newest member of the dogs at HEAHQ...
She was incredibly lucky to be rescued ... there's a long list of people who helped her on her way here...from the original rescuer who picked her up and who cared for her... the wonderful team who not only arranged a rescue for her in England but raised the huge amount of money needed to bring her here ... and everyone who put pennies in her travel pot... thankyou 🙏🐾💕🫶

Today we popped to the vets to get her a once over and get her registered... she licked them to death 😂... she's the sweetest natured little dog in the whole world.

Bug comes with her own set of bills and costs above the usual vet bills and food etc... washable rugs to put down for her in the Snug where she chills out during the day... nappies... nappy liners... baby wipes to keep her hygiene up... of course a stroller for when she has trips to the vet or out and about so she doesn't have to sit on laps all the time but so she has a comfy bed to sit in... and at some point in the future she'll need a set of wheels so she can be as mobile as she'd like to be...

But first things first... she needs a dental and is booked in on 9th June ... hopefully just a scale and polish (her breath is pretty 🤢) and so we will be fundraising for this and all her other expenses ... thankyou in advance for all your support...

Little Tracy learning to walk on a lead around one of the dog paddocks... she's a natural 😍🐾... such a change in the little nervous puppy who turned up a few weeks ago...off to her new wonderful home next Friday... we're sooo excited for her 💕
