Today we teamed up with Ambition Lawrence Weston for First Aid training.

It was a really useful and engaging course and an essential skill for all of us to have, both at work and in everyday life.

A big thank you to Acorn Health & Safety Training and Bristol Community Learning for delivering such a great course and helping us feel more confident about knowing what to do when it really matters.

Working together, learning together and keeping our communities safer.

🐾 Something a little bit different is coming to Happy Days!

On Monday 19th October, we’re holding our very own Happy Days Dog Show.

We’d love to see your faithful four-legged friends come along and join in the fun. There’ll be plenty of silly categories, wagging tails and, of course, lots of doggy admiration!

Don’t worry if you don’t have a dog to bring! Come along and meet the other dogs, or bring your favourite dog teddy instead.

We had a really interesting afternoon at our first Creative Connections session.

There was plenty of concentration, conversation and a few very colourful creations!

From colourful autumn vegetables to beautiful sunflowers, everyone brought their own ideas and style to the table.

Creative Connections is a 10-week programme for people living with dementia and their companions, giving people the opportunity to be creative, meet others and enjoy something together in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

A lovely first session and we’re looking forward to seeing what the group creates next!

What a crazy afternoon at Happy Days!

Our silent disco was so much fun, with plenty of dancing, singing, laughter and some questionable dance moves! 😂

We also loved having students from Clifton High join us. They were incredibly helpful, got stuck in and, most importantly, joined in with the fun!

It was brilliant to see everyone dancing, chatting and enjoying themselves together.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and made this afternoon such a good one.
