BAGS works closely with the Bristol Hannover Council, the official twinning arrangement in Bristol since 1947 and one of the oldest Anglo-German partnerships in the UK. BAGS and BHC work closely to offer a programme of talks and events on German topics each year which are open to members of both organisations. If you are also interested in taking part in the regular exchanges with Hannover or supporting the many Bristol organisations in sport, culture and education who have developed links with Hannover, please consider joining BHC. Welcome to BAGS on Facebook! We meet regularly for interesting talks, given by our members and guest speakers - and we host conversation afternoons and a range of social events through the year. Most of our events are held in English, but there are also events in German and some which are bilingual. Our members come from all over - people who have been involved in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, some who are just interested, some who come from those countries. Everyone is welcome!
