The Conservation Volunteers - Tree Life Centre

The Conservation Volunteers - Tree Life Centre The Conservation Volunteers is the community volunteering charity. Join in, feel good!

The Tree Life Centre is a community tree nursery and growing space, managed by The Conservation Volunteers, based on Grimsbury Farm in Kingswood, Bristol. It was an idea which germinated from the millennium "Trees of Time and Place" project and began life as seedlings on a roof garden at the Create Environment Centre in Bristol. It then spent its sapling years in Lawrence Weston and Blaise Castle

before moving on to put roots down in the fertile and welcoming soils of Grimsbury Farm in Kingswood. The project is a very inclusive one and people from many different backgrounds have come together to make the Tree Life Centre an interesting and attractive growing space where people can come along, learn new skills and make new friends as they help to grow trees, shrubs and wildflowers which are then sold and/or planted out to improve wildlife habitats and green spaces.
