Next Sunday we have our last show of the season, when our theme will be smoke. 💨🔥 Stories about smoke, fire and fumes. The smoke from a cigarette, the smoke from a campfire, and smoke rising in the distance. The smell of smoke left on your clothes, smoking drugs in the back of the care, and that person who was smoking hot. The piece of evidence you found that was the smoking gun. The time your carefully laid plans went up in smoke, or the time you had to flee from a burning building.

The airbnb with a wood fuelled fireplace, the candle that was snuffed out. Incense, offerings and explosions. Burning the mid night oil, fumigating the house, and setting off a fleabomb. The flare you used to signal to rescuers, or the smoke gr***de you used to hide your movements..

EGGS EGGS EGGS! Perhaps one of the weirdest themes we've ever chosen, but it's one we've been wanting to do for ages. Come join us April 19th when we will be hearing stories of everything oval, crunchy and gooey. Chicken eggs, duck eggs, ostrich eggs, quail eggs, and human eggs. Eggs thrown at someone's house at Halloween, or one cracked on your head as a prank. Fried, scrambled, poached, devilled, hard boiled. Archaeological digs for dinosaur eggs, and pickled eggs and crisps at the pub. Eating too many Easter eggs and feeling sick and falling in the pond and getting covered in frogs spawn. Tadpolls, penguins, gulls, and birds of all kinds. The nest that fell out of the tree, and the incubator that let you watch it hatch. And stories about fertility, conception and retrievals. The healthcare system, the reproductive cycle and IVF. Ovaries, o***s and gametes. Parenthood, childhood, birth, death and rebirth again...

Some of the behind the scenes from the creation of our new Spicy Slam set! Starring our Stage Manager Gem being a force of nature getting everyting setup on the day, our Producer Esther admiring our new lighting, and our host James sewing together the curtains! Everyone did an incredible job and we couldn't have done any of it without them. Plus a bonus pic of our raw fabrics all purchased from Bristol's very own !! Next month our theme is mother. Stories of motherhood, womanhood and childhood. Step mothers, adoptive mothers, and mothers in law. Being a mother, having a mother and all the life in between. The day you learnt you were going to be a mum, or the moment you realized your mum was once a child like you. Stories of birth, pregnancy and s*x. The joy, the fear and the strangeness of being a parent. And the joy and uncertainty of having one. Stories of nesting, flying the coop, and coming back home. The person who cared for you when you were small, or the person who was absent. The mother, the maiden, the crone. Family holidays, breastfeeding in public, or being a mother figure to someone else. Bringing something into existence, creating something cool or weird or new. The bird and the bees talk, your first day of school, and Mother's day. Shall I be mother..?

We are completely blown away by the photos of our new Spicy Slam set by ! Look how gorgeous it looks! It looks like a bo***ir!! So s*xy and cheeky we love it. Huge thank you to our producer Esther Saunders-Jennings for helping make it happen. From design to creation it was a big undertaking, and we're incredibly happy with the result, and we hope you all enjoy it too! Here are a few of our favourite pictures showcasing how it looks.
