📢 Our next rising Together event is here.

This event follows our last gathering in January and is the chance to finalise our Call to Action, collective next steps and to find out what work is being undertaken in this area by police, education, and local authority to determine where we can influence.

The evening includes updates from police, local authority, and education to outline how they are responding to youth violence in the area and their long-term plan. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.

We will also collectively finalise our principles and Call to Action/Demands re. how we as a community respond to serious violence, creating an action plan.

Food and refreshments will be provided.

Please share amongst your contacts, parents and local community - we hope to see you there.

Tickets are free, please see the link in our bio

Funding challenges. Emotional toll. Limited resources. These are just a few of the barriers facing small, Black-led grassroots organisations like Mwanzo Project CIC.

Despite these challenges, Mwanzo continues to support and uplift young people in their community, and their message is clear: consistent, long-term support is vital for lasting change.

🌟 Spotlight on grassroots organisations🌟

At ARE, we’re shining a light on community-led organisations making a difference.

This week, we’re spotlighting Mwanzo Project, a Black-led grassroots organisation that is dedicated to supporting young people at risk of exploitation, offending, and street conflict.

Mwanzo’s work goes beyond just the day job — it’s about creating lasting change from within the community. 🙌
