Imperial Winterguard is a medal winning dance team for young people aged 4+, based in Bristol/South Glos, led by volunteers, a not for profit organisation and registered UK charity (1217581). Established in 2015, our experienced team of volunteers is totally committed to providing the very best tuition for young people in an exciting and challenging dance format. Our cadet class is for beginners a

ged 8+, where our youngsters learn all of the foundation skills that we believe are key to a long and fulfilling experience within the activity. Our junior class is for more advanced performers aged 12+, and is now well established. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ IMPERIAL WINTERGUARD SPONSORED WALK 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️

On Saturday 4th July, our amazing members and their families will be taking on a 9-mile sponsored walk along the old railway line from Warmley to Saltford and back to help raise funds for Imperial Winterguard's 2027 competition season! 💙✨

From our youngest members to supportive parents and carers, everyone will be putting on their walking shoes and taking on the challenge together. Every mile walked and every donation received will help us work towards costumes, equipment, travel, and everything needed to make our 2027 season a success.

We would be so grateful for any support you can give. Whether it's sponsoring one of our walkers, sharing this post, or cheering us on from afar, every contribution makes a difference. ❤️

Spintastic 2026🌀

9 of our Imperial Kids and Cadets took the trip up to Stoke for the weekend where they participated in the ‘Growing’ class for the Spintastic weekend. Our members had plenty of fun making friends with other organisations and learning new skills👑💙

Special thanks to WGUK: Winter Guard United Kingdom and all the volunteers for putting on such a great event and class for our members. Lots of memories made again. See you next year!

📣Our final summer term is coming, and our door is still open to young people ages 4–16 across our Kids, Cadets and brand‑new Junior Class (ages 11–16)👑

Winterguard is a creative, high‑energy activity that builds confidence, teamwork and coordination, and it’s a brilliant way for young people to try something different!

We train in Kingswood, Downend and surrounding South Glos areas, and your first session is completely free.
No experience needed, just enthusiasm.

Last night was a brilliant chance to celebrate a season full of growth, welcoming new Cadet members and eight brand‑new Kids Class performers into the Imperial family🤩

A huge thank you to CSET Active Communities for letting Imperial Winterguard hire your hall in Downend for the 7 months (Sept 25-Mar 26).

The space has been absolutely perfect for us — safe, spacious, and ideal for our Saturday training sessions. It’s made a real difference to our ability to rehearse effectively and keep pushing forward as a group.
