Friday reflection! I started the day talking to someone who is setting up a South Bristol CiC supporting isolated people. Part of the conversation included a testimony about the postive impact of social prescribing.

It reminded me that the Health Park, as a VCSE, do amazing work across South Bristol that changes lives. We don't always see it or realise it but it happens so often.

In 2027 we will have been delivering many activities in South Bristol for 25 years, we don't always have time to appreciate the work we do or the changes we create.

Thank you to everyone who has been on this journey, long before me and long after. How has your connection with the Health Park impacted you? What have you taken part in?

As a charity we are reflecting that in 2027 we have been serving our communities for 25 years. This week we have been celebrating the volunteers and community supporters who make our work grounded.

As a charity we also rely on volunteers to oversee our governance to ensure that we deliver effectively and within the legal framework required of us. As this volunteer week comes to end we want to thank the wonderful Board members who give their time and energy, in the background to allow us to continue offering a range of activities.

Thank you Paul, Andrea, Gaynor, Louise and Bob.

We are also interested in new Board members as are charities and CiCs in your communities.
