We’re still feeling incredibly grateful (and a little bit giddy!) to have received Reuse Initiative of the Year 2026 at the Awards for Excellence 🥇

Preventing paint waste through reuse is something we care deeply about. We know it makes a real difference for both our planet and our communities, so to see this work recognised nationally means a lot.

Thanks to our amazing network, more than 6 million litres of paint have already been reused — but there’s still so much more we can do.

That’s why we’re inviting everyone to join us on our mission. Whether you’re a paint manufacturer, retailer, community group, homeowner, school, sports club, decorator, upcycler, local authority, artist, housing association, parent or contractor — we want to invite you to be part of the solution to end paint waste for good.

Thanks to Awards for Excellence, thanks to our sponcor Dulux , thanks for the love. 💚

For those who have visited Community RePaint East London AKA Forest Recycling Project you will know the legend that is Clive!

Clive has been a intergral part of the work at Forest Recycling Project, especially when it comes to paint reuse.

Thank you clive for being such a paint reuse hero for the last 13 years! Now enjoy your well earned break 💪

Penelope explains why paint doesn't belong in the bin...and she nails it!

Schools, village halls, sports clubs and community centres are saving a fortune on their renovations by choosing to reuse, plus...as Penelope says, this paint just shouldn't be going in the bin!

Check out the whole video of our visit to Hotwells Primary School to see their RePainted mural: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dv1rVUlJTFU

Were are so excited to share that have joined the Community RePaint network!

That means leftover paint from Peterborough homes can be taken to Fengate Recycling Centre and reused by others instead of going to waste ♻️

If you're looking for paint you can browse the selection and take what you need for FREE!
That's a major win for the planet, and your pockets too!

Since partnering with Community RePaint in 2024, Love Essex have seen an incredible amount of paint reuse at their Recycling centres! 💚

Essex residents have donated over 17,900 litres of paint. That's enough to fill 210 bath tubs! 🛁

Want to donate or reuse surplus paint? Head to https://communityrepaint.org.uk/ to find Community RePaint near you!

Since our first Community RePaint scheme launched in 2024, you've donated over 17,900 litres of paint. That's enough to fill 210 bath tubs! 🛁

With schemes now running in Burnham-on-Crouch, Canvey, Maldon, Saffron Walden, Waltham Abbey, and Witham recycling centres, it's never been easier to reuse paint.

So if you're visiting one of our recycling centres this bank holiday weekend, don't forget to check out the paint reuse area. You can donate your old paint or grab some for your latest DIY project!🖌️
