This is what it can look like in the Peruvian Amazon: working alongside a partner wildlife sanctuary near Puerto Maldonado, helping with the daily care that keeps the place running - food prep, cleaning, routines, and being around rescued animals as they recover and, when possible, return to the rainforest.

At Helping Hands, that means the kids, teacher and volunteers are decorating and preparing. Khmer New Year is Cambodia’s traditional New Year celebration - a time for family, games, and starting fresh.

A Globalteer internship is not the kind of placement most people find back home. You could be living in Peru or Cambodia, working with an international team, building practical skills, and taking on work that’s varied, hands-on, and genuinely meaningful.

Globalteer internships are available year-round, usually run for 3 to 6 months, include accommodation and food, and are designed for people who want something more than a standard office routine.
It’s challenging, different, and a lot more interesting than just making coffee and taking notes.

A small moment that says a lot about why this work matters. Last week, the kids from Picaflor House (Cusco, Peru) visited the Cusco Planetarium and got to experience something completely new ✨ For many of them, it was their first time seeing something like this.

Hi everyone,
Please take note of a schedule change for our upcoming event. To ensure the best experience and comply with current regulations, the Temple Run has been rescheduled to January 23rd.

Originally, we planned to hold the event on January 11th; however, due to current challenges regarding mass gathering permissions in the region and logistical considerations between Cambodia and Thailand, this new date allows us to guarantee a safe and successful event for all our students and participants.

Our students are training hard and are divided into teams! You can make a direct impact today:
