"There are quite a few records of hedgehogs in the area, but looking on the Hedgehog Street map there are few hedgehog highways. There have also been some road casualties, and many of the roads in the area are highlighted as high risk for hedgehogs by the Mammal Society.

My aim is to create a larger network of highways for hedgehogs in the BS16 area, linking up with UWE Hedgehog Friendly Campus, and campaign for hedgehog crossing road signs (released by the Department for Transport in 2019) to be installed in key areas. Please feel free to pop over to BS16 Hedgehogs page and give it a like, and feel free to message me via the page if you have any questions! It's a work in progress currently but things will be updated soon! 🦔"
