Over the last three years, Bath & North East Somerset's micro-enterprise programme has helped launch or support 52 local enterprises and community groups, creating services that improve health, wellbeing and community connections.

Now delivered by WERN, the programme continues to help people take the leap into self-employment and make a positive difference in their communities.

Carol, founder of The Everyday Helper, said: "The micro-enterprise programme has helped build my confidence in my business and has provided valuable opportunities to connect with local organisations and raise awareness of the services I offer."

From personal care and companionship to community activities and specialist wellbeing support, local entrepreneurs are turning great ideas into services that are helping people live healthier and happier lives.

If you are thinking about starting your own home care, health or wellbeing business, WERN has joined forces with Cool Ventures to host a free in-person workshop for aspiring entrepreneurs on Wednesday 7 October, 10am-1pm, at The Studio, 10 Palace Yard Mews, Bath.
