Reclaim The Night with XR Brighton Drummers

On Friday 28th November in Brighton City Centre, we marched for safety, for visibility, and the right to exist without fear.

We should never have to shrink ourselves for safety.

We demand a world where everyone can walk home without fear.

Today we helped blockade the L3Harris weapons factory in Brighton. Israel uses weapons made at this factory to commit genocide against the innocent Palestinian people. The genocide must stop. The UK must stop its complicity, including arming Israel. No bombs from Brighton!

XR Drummers at Anti-Trump Protest, London, Sept 2025

On 17th September, 2025, we gathered in London to protest Trump's state visit, and the UK's connections with him, because he:
- supports billionaires and the rich
- attacks workers rights and public services
- denies climate science and boosts fossil fuel production
- sides with war criminals
- promotes nationalism, colonialism, racism and xenophobia
- undermines reproductive rights, backs abusers, and attacks trans people
- wants an authoritarian take-over, silencing critics, scrapping civil rights, and undermining media freedom.

On Saturday 19th July XR Brighton Drummers proudly supported the huge trans pride march in Brighton, UK. Adding our samba inspired tunes to the 30,000 strong crowd marching through the city centre.

Trans women are women. Trans men are men. Trans rights are human rights.

Yesterday Cut The Ties and XR Drummers visited the advertising firm WPP who represent a total of 79 fossil fuel companies, making them enablers to planetary destruction.

Occupiers entered the building, held up banners, and engaged with employees to ask that WPP Cuts The Ties To Fossil Fuels and stops acting as a propagandist for Big Oil.

Outside the front entrance, pole and dance artist Lia (insta ) climbed the tripod dressed as the grim reaper and waved smoke flares to oversee a staged die-in of activists at the hands of some of the worst climate criminals. Shell, BP, Coca Cola, Exxon Mobil and many more.
