Generation Rent Brighton Brighton renters coming together to campaign for professionally managed, secure, decent and affordable private rented homes in sustainable communities.

Generation Rent Brighton is the local campaign group supported by Generation Rent UK in order to strengthen the voice of private tenants by developing a national network of private renters and local private renters’ groups and call for changes in legislation, strategies, policies and practices to make private housing a better place to live.

Generation Rent Brighton campaigns to change the way renting works. There are now over 9 million renters in England, and too many are getting a bad deal on something that should be their basic right – a decent, secure, professionally managed and affordable place to live. There are clear ways we can improve private renting, but we need your help. We work with other groups in Brighton and Hove to push local politicians and decision makers to make the local rental market fairer.
