Harmful w**d killers are coming to your street!
In 2026, Brighton and Hove City Council will be managing w**ds by spraying Glyphosate on our pavements. Glyphosate (also known as Roundup) is a carcinogen, incredibly harmful to people and the planet. https://www.pan-uk.org/glyphosate/

However, there is a resident opt-out scheme that must be applied for by 29th March. Residents across the city are already taking action.

If you and your neighbours can get together for occasional w**ding, you can stop the use of harmful pesticides on your street.

Here is a guide flyer to get you started, and a map of streets around D**e Road Park that will be treated (in full found here https://bhcc.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=12902d06f90a4c42a8d73597d00e4354 )

When you have your team of volunteer w**ders, opt out here:

Please share widely! Let's make Brighton and Hove pesticide-free.
