Israeli government ministers celebrated the passing of the ex*****on law, which applies the death penalty only to Palestinians, with champagne, wearing noose badges and holding ropes.

The Israeli military courts which try Palestinians separately to Israelis have a 99% conviction rate: this law intends for hundreds of Palestinians to be killed.

In June 1964, Brightonians walked from Brighton to London, led by Thabo Mbeki, the future president of South Africa, to protest the imprisonment of Nelson Mandela and the Apartheid regime of South Africa.

Black South Africans have stated that Palestinians living under Israeli occupation today face a worse plight than they themselves experienced under Apartheid:

“Many of us that have visited the occupied territories in Palestine have only come back with one conclusion: that the Palestinians are experiencing a far worse form of apartheid than we ever experienced.” – Mandla Mandela (Nelson Mandela’s grandson)
