Tilo's Talks return to St George's, Kemptown this autumn with another fascinating programme of armchair travel adventures.
Please note the new day: talks now take place on Mondays at 1.00 pm (doors open at 12.45 pm).

The first talk in the new series is Bruges on Monday 12 October.

🌾 Last Sunday at St George's 🌾
Last Sunday's service celebrated Harvest Festival and Creation Sunday, giving thanks for God's wonderful creation and the many blessings of the harvest. Our worship was enriched by uplifting hymns including Come, Ye Thankful People, Come, We Plough the Fields and Scatter and For the Fruits of His Creation, with readings that invited us to reflect on faith, gratitude and our calling to bear good fruit.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the delicious Harvest lunch after the service, and special thanks to Sandro and Louise for preparing such an amazing spread for us all to enjoy.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for worship on the Sixteenth Sunday after Trinity. We reflected on God's generous love and faithful provision through our readings and prayers, and enjoyed Fr Andrew's talk on Compline and Benediction after the service.
We also looked ahead to our Harvest Festival on Sunday 4 October at 10.30am, when we'll celebrate God's creation and gather donations in support of WaterAid and Voices in Exile.
All are welcome.

Brighton Early Music Festival 2026 continues at St George's Church with Henry Purcell's magical masterpiece The Fairy Queen on Friday 9 October at 7.30pm.
Inspired by Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, this enchanting semi-staged performance is presented by the London Handel Players and BREMF Emerging Artists. Expect glorious Baroque music, captivating storytelling and an evening full of magic and mischief.
