🧡 Why we don’t pathologise grief 🧡
Grief is a fundamental part of our human experience. Trying to define a timeline or a process can be inaccurate and harmful. Grief is not a mental health ‘disorder’, it is the most natural response to loss and to a bereavement.
Many attend and the because they have felt isolated, like they are ‘doing grief wrong’ or they have been told they should have ‘moved on’ by now.
Dying to Share has been part of the Brighton and Hove community since 2019, here is what we have learned from members who have attended sometimes once, sometimes multiple times, sometimes regularly.
We warmly welcome you and your grief, however it is showing up for you, no matter how long ago you experienced loss. You are a welcome to attend as many times as you like, whenever you like.
is happening this Thursday 12th June at 10:30am at the Cornerstone Community Centre. It will forever be free to attend and there is always a cuppa waiting for you.
Love, Hannah 🩷
