Isabella is Missing- Hove BN3 ISABELLA went missing from the HOVE, BN3 area, on THURSDAY, 27/08. Lost Dog Recovery UK South are helping coordinate the search for her

She is a very nervous rescue, who escaped from her dogsitters garden in the early hours of Thursday.

We are absolutely delighted to let you know that Isabella has been safely secured!

She was sighted playing with the finder’s dogs, and her dog walker was able to secure her safely 🙏🏻

A huge thank you to everyone who shared her poster, reported sightings and helped to bring her home. Your support has been amazing 🧡

We will be removing posters as quickly as possible, but if you see any still displayed, please feel free to take them down.

‼️ IMPORTANT ISABELLA UPDATE ‼️

Isabella was sighted today, which was such welcome news. Sadly, people then attempted to chase and catch her, causing her to bolt, and we have now lost track of her again.

We completely understand that people instinctively want to help, but Isabella is frightened and in survival mode. Chasing, calling, following, approaching or attempting to grab her will only frighten her further and could push her into traffic or cause her to go into hiding.

If you see Isabella:
🚫 DO NOT chase, approach, call out to or follow her
🚫 DO NOT attempt to catch or corner her
✅ Note the exact time, location and direction she is heading
📍 Send a pin drop immediately to one of the contact numbers on the poster
📸 Take a photo or video from a safe distance, if possible

The only exception is if Isabella is in immediate danger, such as heading towards a busy road. In that situation, please try to calmly divert her away from danger from a safe distance, without chasing or putting pressure on her.

Please allow Isabella to settle so that the experienced team can put a safe recovery plan in place. The quickest way to get her home is to report sightings promptly and then give her space.

Please keep sharing her poster and this important advice. We need as many eyes looking out for her as possible, but please leave securing her to the team.

ISABELLA, a NERVOUS, and now scared, POINTER, was lost from her dogsitters garden in HOVE, EAST SUSSEX, BN3 area on 27th August 2026.

ISABELLA is NOT to be approached - she will bolt - she needs to calm and settle for either her owner to secure her, or to be safely trapped.

If you see her, OR HAVE ANY OTHER INFO - note the following and call/message us asap:

📍 LOCATION (pinpoint on map)
🧭DIRECTION HEADED (nearest landmark)
🐕BEHAVIOUR (walking, running, nervous, calm, sniffing, did they stay in the area? How long?)
