We are really looking forward to the August Bank holiday weekend! 🎉🎉

The food and drink festival is on the Saturday/Sunday and of course Brightlingsea Town show is on the Bank holiday Monday.
We wouldn’t be able to hold the show without the Food festival lending us tables for the exhibit hall so we really want to publicly thank them for their support. 🙏

Our schedule of classes will be published very soon ,so get ready and start planning what you’re going to enter in the show.

It’s a great weekend to be in Brightlingsea so make sure you visit both events!
Oh and the Monday car boot sale of course !

Wow! Just 16 weeks until our show.
Like and follow our page for updates.
WE. CAN'T. WAIT! 🍺🍰🍕🧋💥☀️

📣CALLING ALL STALLHOLDERS!📣

Would you like a stall at this year’s Brightlingsea Town show?

The show is held at Brightlingsea community centre on 31st August, Bank holiday Monday.

The event is always well attended and attracts visitors from far and wide as well as the local community

There are all the wonderful entries to the numerous classes displayed in the main hall and the Dog show is always super busy, but having a stall at the event is a great way to promote your business, attract new customers , raise funds for a charity or organisation and of course , make some sales!

It’s also a great way to have fun , so if you have any ideas for an activity for the kids ( or adults) get in touch.

Stall fees are only £10!

Please contact us if you would like to book.
Spaces go fast so don’t delay!

Planning has already started for this year’s Town Show and we know that many of you will also be planning for the “ growing season” in your gardens and allotments etc.
So, have a look at the schedule and see what you think you might be able to grow and enter as an exhibit this year.

Best in Show – 2025 Brightlingsea Dog Show winners There was lots to enjoy at the 2025 Brightlingsea Dog Show, held alongside the Town Show on Bank Holiday Monday.

The weather was perfect, not too hot and although the entry was down on last year our judge Tony Cruse had plenty of work to do. With 14 classes and rosettes from 1st to 5th in all classes he had lots of choice.

A big entry for the ‘tall dogs’ class was won by Lizzie’s pale cream Lurcher. The dog the judge would like to take home has only one winner, and this time it was a local Pomeranian x Chihuahua called ‘Juno’ owned by Sophie.

The Visitor Stakes had an entry of 10, and the winner was ‘Jimmy’ a Greyhound from Basildon. The Local Stakes winner was Barry with ‘Ruby’ his Golden Retriever.

Best in Show and winner of the Tealby Shield was ‘Bee’ a local Labrador owned by Daisy and Laura. ‘Bee’ was also shown by one of her owners to win Best Junior Handler.

We are lucky to have a super large ring, and an appreciative audience sitting ring-side! Hilltop Kennels and Plumpton’s Park dog field were generous sponsors, and doggy biscuits were an extra treat this year.

And we would like to thank everyone who worked so hard to make the whole show a success!
