A lovely gesture here from Brigg Town football club to bring people together following the sad news over the weekend.
As a club who prioritise mental health and wellbeing, we encourage anyone who may be struggling with this to attend. It is ok not to be ok. Please reach out for support 💙

Following the tragic events that took place on Saturday 16th May, we would like to bring people together for a wellbeing support session for anyone affected.
What happened was incredibly difficult for everyone involved — players, witnesses, friends, family members, and those who stepped in to help.
This session is simply an opportunity to sit together, talk if you would like to, listen if you prefer, and support one another as a community. There is absolutely no pressure to speak.
After traumatic events, it is completely normal to feel overwhelmed, struggle to sleep, replay events in your mind, or feel isolated. We want everyone to know that they are not alone.
📍 Venue: Brigg Town CIC Function Room
📅 Date: Thursday 21st May 2026
🕒 Time: 7:00pm
Tea and coffee will be available, and the session will be informal, respectful, and supportive.
Please feel free to come along, even if it is simply to sit with others for a while.
Look after yourselves and each other🤍
