🌳*Plant Identification and Den Building in Trinity Wood* 🌺

Before the half term, the Bridgnorth Squirrels and their families went to Trinity Wood.

We built a big den and worked together to find out more about the plants around us.

Here are some members from the 8th Bridgnorth Scout Group showing their support for Bridgnorth Pride.

Well done to Councillor Huw Rees for organising everything once again 👏🏻

The event was a bright and cheerful celebration, but served as a stark reminder that LGBTQ+ people continue to face discrimination.

Huw shared the shocking fact that the UK is now 22/49 in the ILGA-Europe Rainbow Map rankings, despite been #1 in 2015.

The International Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association uses the Rainbow Map as a benchmarking tool that tracks and scores 49 European countries from 0% to 100% based on their legal and policy practices.

#1 to #22 in a decade. Let that sit with you. How is a whole section of society going backwards with regards to their human rights and wellbeing?

The Scouts, is for everyone- a place to belong. Thank you to those today who turned up to reinforce that ✌🏻🏳️‍🌈

Even those with the littlest legs can hike! 🥾

Yesterday, some of our Squirrels joined other sections of the 8th Bridgnorth Scout Group and completed an 11 km walk that took us all through the local countryside.

We love getting out and about and exploring 🗺️

Thanks to the families that came and walked with us, it was great seeing you.
