Bridgend Repair Café

06/10/2026

On October 17th it's Internal Repair Day, a day people around the world share their appreciation and passion for repairing, reducing waste and pollution. 🛠️♻️

Seeing so much enthusiasm makes the volunteering work we do here, that much more rewarding. 💪

Join us on October 17th in Bryncethin Community Centre, Ogmore Terrace, and take part! 🙌🔧📅

On Saturday 17 October, we celebrate International Repair Day for the tenth time, with this year’s theme: Repairing Unites People.

Repair Day is a yearly celebration for anyone with a soft spot for repairing: it connects people, benefits the planet, and helps people learn new skills. Hundreds of events are already on the map worldwide, from an XL Repair Café in Bühl to repair festivals in Vienna and textile workshops in Derby.

Organizing something yourself between 10 and 25 October? Add it to the world map and help show just how popular the repair movement is. Check out the program or submit your event at https://repairday.org/
