Invisible Walls CIC, is hosting a conference, in conjunction with other Bedfordshire based organisations, to raise awareness among professionals working with children and families in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, about the impact of imprisonment on those children and families.

The conference will explore the theme of parental imprisonment, provide details about the services Invisible Walls offers, and demonstrate how a trauma-informed approach can support children and families affected by imprisonment.

The conference will take place on 25th November 2026, at Bedford Academy in Bedford town. The cost to attend is £10 per person.

We are delighted to announce that we have been selected as a finalist in the 'Social Innovation' category in the Social Business Wales Awards. The final will be held on 7 October at the Muni in Pontypridd.

Whatever the outcome, we're so proud that our work has been recognised!

He shared our family services work with a global audience of practitioners and academics during a keynote presentation at the 6th Annual International Families Alliance Conference in Sao Miguel.

We’ve ended the week on an overwhelming high, thanks to Project Linus UK - Bridgend and County Borough supported by Lions Clubs International Bridgend.

They have donated more beautiful, handmade Cwtch Quilts and cushions which will be given to the children we support.

Particularly excited by the latest addition of larger quilts for older children and the amazing pillows and quilts which came with the tactile minky backing - all the way from Australia.

We consider ourselves very lucky to have such wonderful partnerships with these talented and dedicated people who see the value in the work we do.

Another magical collection of incredible cwtch quilts from the heroic volunteers at Project Linus UK - Bridgend and County Borough.

This donation to Invisible Walls CIC also includes the first of their matching quilt and reading pillows with gifted books, perfect in this the National Year of the Reader.

All of these wonderful creations will soon be in the arms of the vulnerable children we support throughout our family services.
