If you ever find yourself looking out for our Newport Transporter Bridge from afar – whether it's on top of looking down, or (possibly?!?) Clevedon Pier looking across, a Top Transporter Tip is to look for our ‘Golden Cables’. As the sun catches them they look like two thick golden lines – and then you’ll (just about) see our Bridge!

Os ydych chi erioed yn ceisio dod o hyd i Newport Transporter Bridge o bell - p'un a ydych yn edrych i lawr o ben neu ar draws o (bosibl?!?)Bier Clevedon, un o gynghorion rhagorol y Bont Gludo yw chwilio am ein ‘Ceblau Aur'. A'r haul yn disgleirio arnynt, maen nhw'n edrych fel dwy linell aur drwchus - byddwch bron yn gallu gweld ein Pont ryfeddol!

Spring is the best time for a good clear-out, and we’ve been putting our unwanted items to good use for our pollinators! One of our has made a bamboo bug house from an old squash bottle and some canes, while our old tea, coffee and sugar caddies from the Newport Transporter Bridge Workshop kitchen, have been drilled and stuffed with pinecones, to make some very stylish pollinator penthouses!

Y gwanwyn yw'r amser gorau i roi trefn ar bethau, ac rydym wedi bod yn gwneud defnydd da o'n heitemau diangen er lles ein pryfed peillio! Mae un o'n wedi creu tŷ bambŵ i'n pryfed peillio o hen boteli sgwas a chaniau. Yn y cyfamser, rydyn ni wedi gwneud tyllau mewn hen gadis te, coffi a siwgr o'r gegin yng Ngweithdy'r Bont Gludo a'u llenwi â chonau pinwydd gan greu ‘penty’ chwaethus iawn i'n pryfed peillio!

The Newport Transporter Bridge East Anchorage Garden Gang have been uncovering all sorts of interesting species of Mighty Minibeasts amongst our fantastic foliage, under the shadow of our 119 year old Mighty 'Mega Beast' for 2026!
