The inaugural Sacred Encounter focused on forgiveness and renewal, symbolically represented through a washing in Low Water below Coniston Old Man. Jon was the only one brave enough to go further than feet in the water, but we all engaged in a symbolic internal spring clean. Lunch was a shared feast with the day ending with coffee or a pint beside the fire at the Sun Inn, having blessed each other in the words of the classic Celtic Blessing.
