I have always had a interest in History and trekking / walking so what better way to put the two together then pick up latest’s kit and explore in countryside whether in someone’s garden or estate on in a farmer field finding what was once lost and researching its use and how it got there .I find that retrieving these lost objects gives me a connection to the people and the

traditions of days gone by. I understand the responsibility that comes with a permission to detect and assure you that I follow the metal detecting code of ethics–which includes filling in all plugs, never entering structures, and leaving no evidence of my presence. I am member of National Council for Metal Detecting and follow their code of conduct and have public liability insurance up to 2 million
