Tiny Tales To Go visited Jemima House Day Nursery today 📚✨

We shared stories of animals and dinosaurs together as a group 🦕, and the children explored the book boxes and chose up to two stories each to take home and keep. It was lovely seeing even the littlest readers carefully picking their new reading adventures and deciding which stories would come home with them 🌿

Storybook Village brings secondhand books to children aged 0–11 years completely free of charge, helping stories find new homes, new readers, and new imaginations, while also keeping good books out of landfill ♻️

The project runs entirely on kind donations of pre-loved children’s books. If you have books you’d like to donate, please do get in touch!

Today Storybook Village visited Happy Mama Hub, Brampton Cambridgeshire - Mother & Baby Wellness with Tiny Tales To Go! 📚✨

We spent the morning chatting with families and helping lots of little ones choose books to take home and keep 🩵

It was so lovely seeing little readers looking at stories, while parents carefully picked out books they knew would be loved at home 🐛📖

A huge thank you to the Happy Mama Hub team for being so welcoming. It’s such a warm and friendly space for families, and we loved being part of your morning ✨

It's been a Storybook Village kind of day here 📚

We've recently had some beautiful book donations arrive, and today was spent hand-sorting around 2000 children's books ahead of upcoming summer pop-ups and Tiny Tales visits! ☀️

This week, we're heading over to the Happy Mama Hub, Brampton Cambridgeshire - Mother & Baby Wellness on Thursday morning with Tiny Tales To Go, to share free stories with little bookworms 🐛📖

Storybook Village runs entirely on generous donations of second-hand children's books, and I'm very grateful for every book that's contributed. If you have children's books for ages 0-11 years in good condition that you'd like to donate, please get in touch!

A lovely morning bringing Tiny Tales To Go to Cygnets Pre-school 💛📚

We shared a story together — Harold Finds A Voice, a beautiful tale about a parrot discovering his own voice and making new friends 🦜✨

Afterwards, our little readers each chose two books to take home and share with their grown ups — ready to be read, loved, and enjoyed again and again 📖

Tiny Tales To Go is available to visit early years community groups and settings as part of Storybook Village 💛📚

I bring free secondhand books directly into local pre-schools, early years settings, and children’s groups for under 5s to choose and take home.

It’s completely free, with no cost and no catch — just books finding new homes with our littlest readers ✨

📚 Tiny Tales To Go at Alconbury Tea & Tots! 📚

This morning, I had the joy of visiting Alconbury Tea & Tots with Tiny Tales to Go! Their little group of eager book lovers (aged 0–4) each got to choose their own books to take home and keep.

It was so lovely to see them exploring the books, chatting, and enjoying a calm, playful session. Little hands, big imaginations, and plenty of giggles – I think we might have a few future bookworms in the making… ✨📚

📚 Tiny Tales To Go with Alconbury Community Preschool 🐻

This morning, I had the joy of returning to Alconbury Community Preschool with Tiny Tales to Go! We shared the story Paddington at the Tower, and then the children each chose three books to take home and keep.

Watching them sit with the books, carefully turning the pages and deciding which ones they wanted to choose was such a special moment. You could see how excited and thoughtful they were about their selections.

Moments like that are a beautiful reminder of why Tiny Tales To Go exists – helping children discover the joy of books and giving them stories to take home and enjoy.

What a a fantastic morning at Rema Tots Group today! Celebrating World Book Day with a visit from Tiny Tales To Go! 📚✨

It was wonderful to see so many little ones excitedly exploring the boxes of books and choosing their own stories to take home and keep. Each child was able to pick up to three books, ready for lots of cosy storytimes at home.

A huge thank you to everyone at Rema Tots Group for such a warm welcome. We loved visiting and sharing the joy of reading with you all! 💛
