Did you know our students at Inscape Vocational College can do a BTEC Digital Media course?

Over the course of the year the learners have the opportunity to learn about the many different digital media sectors that make up the industry.

The course focuses on building the foundation skills that the learners will use on various creative media projects, such as shooting films and animations, designing magazine covers, producing a radio show, building a video game and many more.

Bridge College is open and expanding, with four new classrooms already supporting students’ learning!

Today, we celebrated the opening of the extension at our specialist college in Openshaw, Manchester, where Vice Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester Eamonn O’Neal cut the ribbon alongside student Dana!

Part of the Together Trust, Bridge College supports young people aged 16 to 25 with learning difficulties, disabilities, complex health needs and autism. The extension provides more specialist teaching space and is designed to allow the college to support more students.

Our individual learning programmes build on students’ needs, interests and aspirations, with opportunities to develop communication and independence skills, take part in work experience and explore supported internships.

Our student-led baking club provided delicious cakes, pastries and bakes for the party, while the enterprise club created the beautiful decorations used to adorn the tables.

We were delighted to welcome so many of our governors, trustees, and local partners and collaborators to join us on the day in celebrating the opening of our new extension.

It's done: our brand new extension to Bridge College is finally being unveiled today!

Let our Principal John and student interviewer Shabaz take you all over the college to show you what's new!

We now have:
- 4 new classrooms
- a new entrance
- 3 pods for Hair and Beauty, AI and Enterprise and laundry
- a new roof
-a bigger car park including 11 EV spaces
- new wellbeing rooms

We are so excited that our facilities are ready in time for our new cohort of students to enjoy this academic year. Making our spaces more modern, accessible and enriching for both staff and students has been a success to accomplish.

We're proud that our Trustee, Geoff Durbin, was invited to attend 10 Down Street marking the launch of a new Government campaign aiming to recruit 10,000 foster carers across England.

Geoff was invited in his role as a member of the Fostering Advisory Board The Fostering Network alongside colleagues from the Network. Geoff is a foster carer himself and works tirelessly to raise the profile of fostering, getting involved in multiple initiatives.

The event was hosted by Marie France, the Prime Minister's wife, along with foster carers and people with lived experience of the care system.

This important campaign highlights the urgent need for more people to consider fostering and the life-changing difference foster carers make every day.

Thank you, Geoff, for representing Together Trust and for helping to shape the future of fostering at a national level. 💛

Our online retail team is expanding and we're looking for people interested in donating their time to help us raise much needed funds! 🛍️

We're currently looking for:
-Retail Photography volunteers
-Vinted Listing volunteers

Both roles involve working with our Fundraising team on turning our ever-expanding stock of clothing donations into funds for the services we run.

You could be capturing stylish shots of our stock, styling outfits, listing items on online retail platforms like Vinted, helping us keep a log of items or measure clothes.

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers of all backgrounds to get involved – no previous experience required, just a love for fashion and a desire to help!

Bring your energy and creativity to this flexible volunteering role, supported by our fun, creative fundraising team.
