Fun fact for the week – did you know that St Margaret’s Hall used to be the town’s cinema?

And, at one time it operated as a factory for dyeing wool and cloth. In 1917 it was converted into a cinema called The Alexander.

It was converted into St Margaret’s Hall by Bradford on Avon Urban District Council (as it was known at the time) in 1959.

Speaking of jazz – we’re over the moon that Louise Parker is back in BoA for the Live Music Festival.

She’s playing St Margaret’s Hall and singing a tribute to Nina Simone and Billie Holiday.

Moments of Pleasure: The Music of Kate Bush is returning to St Margaret’s Hall this coming Saturday. And if their performance is anything like last time – it’ll be a massive hit.

Act 1: Moments Of Pleasure will perform Kick Inside in its entirety

Act 2: the band will take you on an amazing journey through many of Kate’s later chart hits such as Running Up That Hill, Hounds of Love, Babooshka, Wow and Cloudbusting.
