West Northants Council are inviting people who draw upon adult care and support, as well as carers and families, to share their experiences and views to help shape the future of support across West Northamptonshire.

West Northamptonshire Council is developing a new Adult Social Care Strategy and wants to hear from as many people as possible, so that the strategy is shaped by people’s real experiences, priorities, and ideas for the future.

A survey and a series of Big Conversation events are taking place across West Northamptonshire. These are opportunities for people to say what is working well, what could be improved, and what matters most to them about adult social care and support.

Fancy learning something new, or just fancy some good company? Come along to our Stitching Sessions at Brackley Town Hall this August. No experience needed, no booking required, just turn up and get stitching.

If you've been wanting to begin sewing, this is your moment 🌟

If you want a supported start to your sewing journey, Learn to Sew at Stitching Kitchen allows you to take your first steps in the company of other new sewers with a patient and enthusiastic tutor.

This 5 week course is designed to build confidence and creativity, whilst you gain hands-on experience with a sewing machine, create stunning projects to brighten up your home, and leave with the building block skills you need for all beginner and improver sewing projects.

You can bring your own machine if you have one, or borrow one of our demo models that are already in the studio.

You will learn...
🌟 Sewing machine setup: threading, tension and troubleshooting
