Cat at The Flower Shed at 113 will have her large tent again full of floral and creative fun …

I’ll be bringing my bell tent to Bozeat Village Fete on Sunday 12th July! 🌸

Pop in and join me for a relaxed drop-in flower printing workshop, where you can create a beautiful handmade keepsake to take home.

Choose from a bookmark, greetings card, pencil case or canvas tote bag. No booking needed, just come along and get creative!

Hope to see you there,
Cat 🌺

Who’s coming to the Fete tomorrow?
We’ll be having a stall, come and say hi.

We would love to know what you would like to see at the new Bozeat Centre. We will have feedback forms so that you can share your ideas.

Look forward to meeting you then.
Thanks.

So many great stalls at the fete tomorrow. Hope you can make it and celebrate all things Bozeat.

How are you coping with the heat? 🥵
Dogs have been seen walking around village, please wait until it is much cooler or just have fun in house instead for the day, no reason to walk in this weather. Tonight it will still be 26 at 10pm. So you would have to wait until 12am for it to be cooler. It isn’t just the temperature in the air, the pavement can be a lot hotter. Also fake grass can be double the temperature too. If you can’t put your own feet on the ground, don’t expect dogs with sensitive paws to either.

Here’s a simple chat that demonstrates the difference the temperatures can make. This can be worse for puppies, older dogs and breeds with breathing issues.

Take care.

Exciting times…looking forward to seeing the hall soon.

So lovely to have the sunshine when announcing the summer issue will be out to residents from this weekend.

Lots of amazing summer events around the village from Yard Sale, Concert, Fete, Open Gardens, Annual Show and more.

Bozeat in the Past theme will be all about Bozeat’s finest artist Charles Spencelayh.

I thought the newer residents (that have missed the magazine over the last two years that I have been running it) might like to see the interesting Bozeat in the Past topics I have created.
You can see all the back issues on my website https://www.bozeatmatters.info

Here is a list of the Bozeat in the Past features:
Spring 2026 - Agnes Jones tribute
December 2025 - Bozeat Legends
September 2025 - Lest we forget
June 2025 - Celebrations in the Past
March 2025 - Cottage industry history
December 2024 - Easton Maudit history
September 2024 - Bozeat Shop history
June 2024 - Bozeat Pub history
March 2024 - Removal of Nene Milling (before Ahern Close)

I hope you enjoy the summer issue.

Thanks.
Melody
