April Quiz News🧐🕵🏻‍♀️🔍

Our April quiz saw the Dr No’s take the top spot with a convincing win over some usual high quiz scorers with an impressive 8 point lead.

With British Landmarks proving quite tricky for some teams alongside Shakespeare being our lowest scoring rounds on this occasion🇬🇧💂‍♂️📜

We wouldn’t be able to successfully run these quizzes without the help of all our organisers, volunteers & the help of the Village Hotel Club on the night for hosting.

Our next quiz is on May 19th- book now to avoid disappointment!

Quiz News🧐🕵🏼♥️

Our March quiz ended in a nail biting tie break with The Wanderers Dick Whittington knowledge helping them steal the win from regular winners Education Ltd🥳

We saw teams fly high with Obsolete Technology, Rhyming Slang & Compound Words categories our best scoring rounds. 📸🎶📖

With over 120 participants raising over £1000, our March quiz was a huge success and was great to see so many regular & new faces attending on the night!🤩

We cannot thank the volunteers both on and off the night, the organisers & Village Hotel Club enough for making these nights possible and such a success.

Our next quiz will be held on April 21st- 7:00PM. Contact the office to avoid disappointment as these quizzes are filling up fast! 👀

Quiz News👀🕵️🧐

Last week on Tuesday we had our 25th Quiz Night!

These quizzes have become a very popular part of the BHC events calendar with over 100 participants each time attending.

This time we saw the return of a regular winning team Phoenix Dorset who are pictured below with our new BHC Mascot Smarty Hearty♥️

We are incredibly grateful to all of the participants, volunteers and organisers both on the night and in the lead up that make these quiz nights happen, they raise crucial funds for the club & we would like to thank you all for your contributions!🙌🏼🥳🤩

Dylan’s Story🍒⚽️♥️

As Fans Champion for the game on Saturday, one of our very own members, Dylan, was given the opportunity to talk about his story, his experiences as an AFC Bournemouth Fan & his life post cardiac event.

AFC Bournemouth created a powerful video raising awareness of CPR training and how crucial this is.

We are so proud of Dylan & grateful to Bournemouth for allowing him his opportunity to spread such an important message.

We had a great time on Saturday supporting the AFC Bournemouth game, promoting heart health & encouraging football fans to think about their exercise levels & how we would help improve their quality of life♥️🍒⚽️

We cannot thank the club enough for allowing us this platform & supporting this project.

We were delighted to welcome Tom Hayes MP back to the Club today and reflect on our achievements over the past year.

It was also a great opportunity to discuss our two-year Charity Partnership with AFC Bournemouth and the exciting initiatives ahead.

Quiz News🕵🏻‍♀️🔍♥️

It’s 2026 and our first quiz night of the year happened on Tuesday & what a start it was!

The Dr No’s claimed victory with 130 points beating The Wanderers by just 1 point, who were closely followed by Phoenix Dorset & Scrambled Eggheads in joint 3rd with 127 points. Our closest leaderboard yet!😬😅

The quiz was hosted in the restaurant this time Village Hotel Club, which was assisted by our portable PA system, given in memory of one of our late members Ashley.

We would like to thank all of those who participated, helped organise and manage the night and we look forward to welcoming to our next quiz- 24th February at 7:00PM.

It is our Silver Anniversary Quiz & we would love to welcome as many of you as possible, whether you have a concrete team already or want to come and try your first quiz by joining forces with some other quiz newbies♥️
