Welcome to August, good news to Dorset, please join and support us at our gathering in Weymouth . Wake would to get in touch and hear what the local diverse and ethnic community would like to have from the few projects that we launched .

The 2 nd event is our monthly Beautiful Wisdom , we will attempt flower arranging .please bring your own flowers for the session which is packed with fun, laughter and multicultural neighbourly vibes, location this month will be in Bournemouth.

Our youth integration programme is still on the 23 rd of August.
English connect courses free, every Tuesday evening 6-7:15 at the Local Bournemouth chapel.

Today (11 July), we will fly the Srebrenica Memorial Flag at County Hall in Dorchester to mark 31 years since the Srebrenica genocide.

We remember the more than 8,000 Bosnian Muslim men and boys murdered in July 1995, and all those who suffered or were forced from their homes.

This year’s theme, “We Are Here,” honours the strength and resilience of survivors and their families, who continue to stand for truth and justice. It’s also a reminder of our shared responsibility in Dorset to challenge prejudice, celebrate diversity, and make sure everyone feels they belong.

Cllr Stella Jones MBE, Chair of Dorset Council, said: “Srebrenica Memorial Day gives us an opportunity to reflect on the devastating consequences of hatred, discrimination and division…we reaffirm our commitment to building communities in Dorset where everyone is valued, respected and included.”

- Saturday 16/05 Food and fun festival , first time in Southboune , Fisherman’s walk by the bandstand is our stall.
Serving Middle Eastern delicious cuisine and traditional hot and cold drinks suitable for vegetarians and vegans . First comes first served. We have a 5 star hygine rating. We are doing food demos too on the bandstand. Also lovely henna tattoo and we have two artists.£5
