Nature Watch Group trustees, Kim and Emma, met with yesterday to discuss the water testing results our volunteers have been collecting over the past 4 years.
The group have demonstrated how some agricultural practices have been hugely detrimental to watercourse health and shared how troubled we are by the lack of diligence available from the statutory bodies responsible and the lack of care by some farmers.
Nature Watch Group remains committed to working with land owners and statutory bodies to improve biodiversity and discussion with helped us to form a cohesive plan moving forward.
If you would like to act to help nature and would like to volunteer some time we would love to hear from you… whatever your skill set you will be welcome at Nature Watch Group… please get in touch for a friendly, no obligation chat 💚

The three ladies outlined the different challenges faced by watercourses and what their groups were doing to tackle pollution and restore water health.

is an event which allows conservation bodies and other interested parties to network in order to improve action and outcomes, as well as highlighting pertinent issues.

Make sure the sounds on for this one 🔊
Check out this amazing footage of the Peacock Butterfly (Aglais io) in full defence mode. It creates a hissing noise with its wings, which along with the ‘eye’ pattern deters predators.
