We are a competitive and social gig rowing club open to all. We row from Boscastle, our home port, as well as Tamar Lakes and Port Gaverne. If you have a look through our page and see something you like, then get in touch. We are open to new members at any time throughout the year and have active members with a fifty year range in age -

gig rowing really is for everyone! We also support and volunteer with the Tamar Rowability project, which was set up by one of our members. This is in conjunction with British Rowing and the Cornwall Sports Partnership and is the first gig rowing project ever have been set up to give those with physical and mental health challenges the opportunity in participating in gig rowing.

🌊🐬 World Ocean Day 🐬🌊

Moments like this remind us just how lucky we are.

Out on the water off Boscastle, sharing the sea with these beautiful dolphins, we’re reminded that the ocean is so much more than a place we row. It’s a place of wonder, connection, adventure and peace. It gives us unforgettable memories and a deep appreciation for the natural world.

As members of Boscastle and Crackington Gig Club, we’re privileged to spend time on this incredible stretch of coastline that we love and call home; with that privilege comes responsibility.

Today, on World Ocean Day, we’re celebrating our oceans and recognising the part we all play in protecting them. Every piece of litter picked up, every sustainable choice made, and every effort to care for our marine environment helps ensure that future generations can experience moments like this too.
