It's Plastic Free July so we're focusing on some of the simple swaps that can help you reduce your reliance on single use plastic

In the UK we throw away an astonishing 520 million plastic shampoo bottles every year - and recycling isn't always the answer since it takes a lot of energy to turn a plastic bottle into something else. If you can, find somewhere that will refill your old bottle - we don't do shampoo refills but other shops in Horwich, Chorley and Adlington do.

But you might want to try something a bit different instead. Shampoo bars are just like bars of soap - a concentrated solid bar of shampoo that comes in a cardboard sleeve. Our Friendly Shampoo bars are made using natural ingredients that are friendly to your hair as well as to the planet.
